Anne-Marie teased a new song on June 4th, via TikTok and the rest on July 30th. She also performed the song for the first time at the Sziget festival, Budapest. She teased a verse with Aitch later on.

The song interpolates 1999 chart-topper “Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of…)” performed by Lou Bega.

The track is about finding out a partner is cheating, not only with one person but with many women. The boy tells all his exes they are crazy and psycho when really they are the psycho who cheats a lot.

On the second of September, Anne-Marie officially announced the song & the collaboration.

PSYCHO was to be released on 9th September 2022, but its release got postponed to the 15th September due to the passing of Her Majesty.
